"You have to be careful now" - Traffic Police to issue summonses to Road Users who Stop past the White Line at traffic lights

Since last July 28, the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) of the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) has implemented a Traffic Compliance Operation throughout the country.

One of the operations carried out is related to the white line. Road users who stop vehicles beyond the white line may be subject to imprisonment and fines.

Recently, the Kuala Lumpur police have carried out operations involving roads around the capital.

A user X shared a video showing several road users who stopped vehicles beyond the white line and were summoned by traffic police officers.

In the video, it can be seen that motorcyclists and car drivers who stop beyond the white line at traffic lights are detained by the traffic police.

In fact, some tried to reverse their vehicles when they stopped beyond the white line but were caught by the traffic police on duty there. I really don't care!

The average netizen who saw the video agreed with the action of the lawsuit. In fact, some hope that this operation will also be expanded throughout the country.

For your information, any individual who commits the above offense can be fined not exceeding RM2,000 or imprisoned for a period not exceeding six months.

The act of stopping beyond the white line is one of the causes of traffic jams, accidents and can also disturb other road users.
