Women's Squash team delivers Malaysia's third gold medal in Asian Games

Aira Azman, Aifa Azman, Rachel Arnold and S. Sivasangari won women's team gold for Malaysia at Asian Games Hangzhou. Aifa Azman delivered the winning point after beating Chan Sin Yuk 11-5, 11-8, 11-13, 11-8. Hong Kong was the defending champion from the last Asiad in Indonesia five years ago


Squash delivered the third gold medal for Malaysia in the Hangzhou Asian Games after the women's team came from behind to beat Hong Kong 2-1 at HOC Squash Centre on Saturday (Sept 30).


Rachel Arnold lost the first match 11-7, 7-11, 11-8, 8-11, 6-11 to Tong Tsz Wing.


However, S. Sivasangari put Malaysia back in the game when she beat Ho Tze Lok 11-5, 11-8, 11-6.
