The Secretariat of the Save Malaysia Association today made a report to urge a thorough investigation into the acquittal without acquittal (DNAA) of Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi from 47 charges of misappropriation of Yayasan Akalbudi funds.
Member of the National Consensus (MN) Supreme Council, Datuk Tun Faisal Ismail Aziz said, it follows several dubious matters and he thinks the matter has been manipulated from the legal and executive aspects.
"Therefore I request a full investigation to be carried out and request important witnesses such as the former Deputy Public Prosecutor, Raja Rozela Raja Toran; former Attorney General, Tan Sri Idrus Harun and Deputy Public Prosecutor, Datuk Dasuki Mohktar were summoned," he told reporters here on Saturday.
Tun Faisal also requested that an investigation be carried out on the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and the investigation papers of the Deputy Prime Minister.
