Gardenia Bakeries (KL) Sdn Bhd (Gardenia KL) today confirmed that 30 of the company's products will experience price increases from October 1 or this Sunday.
Among the products that experienced an increase were Puazz Sambal Bilis, Sambal Mackerel and chicken curry, Quick Bites Butter Tofee and red beans, Quick Bited Cream Rolls, Numee Yellow Noodle and Numee Keluarga.
These products will witness an increase of between 10 and 40 cents.
"Gardenia KL has revised the prices for selected products with effect from 1 October.
"However, the prices of white bread, whole wheat bread and Toast'em bread remain unchanged (no increase in price) to ensure that this increase does not burden the majority of its customers," he said in a statement here, on Tuesday.
Previously, on September 1 last year, six of its products were sold at new prices which involved increases ranging from 10 sen to 50 sen.
The price change involved Gardenia Original Classic from RM2.80 to RM3; Gardenia Wholemeal from RM3.60 to RM4; Gardenia Toast'em range from RM5 to RM5.50; Gardenia Twiggies RM1.80 to RM2; Gardenia Waffles RM1.40 to RM1.50 and Gardenia Cream Bread RM1 to RM1.10.
