Ministry Of Home Affairs Issues Strongly Worded Statement on Rohingya's, As PATI with UNHCR Cards they must respect Malaysian Law

Follow the 5 Golden Rules & Protect Yourself From Getting Infected by the Covid-19 Virus - The New Normal !

You can reduce your chances of being infected by the novel COVID-19 virus to almost Zero by taking 5 simple precautions: The 5 Golden Rules Which Has Become The New Normal!

  1. Wash Your Hands: Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water. Why? Washing your hands with soap and water or using alcohol-based hand rub kills viruses that may be on your hands
  2. Social Distancing: Maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and others. Why? When someone coughs, sneezes, or speaks they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain virus. If you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets, including the COVID-19 virus if the person coughs. Avoid sharing of food. utensils and No Shaking Hands!

  3. Avoid Crowded Places / Public Transportation : Avoid going to crowded places like religious events or concerts. Why? Where people come together in crowds, you are more likely to come into close contact with someone that has COIVD-19 and it is more difficult to maintain physical distance of 1 metre (3 feet). Plan your trips so you travel during off peak hours if you are using public transportation.
  4. Mask:  Wear A Mask If you are going to a place with Many people. (It is not compulsory, but no harm being safe than sorry!)

  5. Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth at all cost. Why? Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose or mouth. From there, the virus can enter your body and infect you.

The New Normal
Observe & Advise Especially at your workplace.:
  • Make sure you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory hygiene. This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately and wash your hands. Why? Droplets spread virus. By following good respiratory hygiene, you protect the people around you from viruses such as cold, flu and COVID-19.

If you are sick:...
  • Stay home and self-isolate even with minor symptoms such as cough, headache, mild fever, until you recover. Have someone bring you supplies. If you need to leave your house, wear a mask to avoid infecting others. Why? Avoiding contact with others will protect them from possible COVID-19 and other viruses.

  • If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention, but call by telephone in advance if possible and follow the directions of your local health authority. Why? National and local authorities will have the most up to date information on the situation in your area. Calling in advance will allow your health care provider to quickly direct you to the right health facility. This will also protect you and help prevent spread of viruses and other infections.

SHAH ALAM, April 29 -- Police arrested 27 individuals at an apartment unit in Section 7 here, for breaching the Movement Control Order (MCO) by organising a birthday celebration, early this morning.

Shah Alam district police chief ACP Baharudin Mat Taib said the 25 men and two women, all local residents aged between 19 and 37, were arrested at about 3.30am following a tip-off.

He said investigations revealed that the apartment unit was booked online by one of the individuals for the purpose of holding a birthday party for one of the members.

“Following a search, police seized three bottles of liquor, another three had already been consumed, a portable speaker and a microphone.

"On further investigation we also found a black bag containing compressed dried leaves, wrapped in tin-foil, suspected to be cannabis weighing about 120 grams," he said in a statement today.

Baharudin said urine tests conducted on all detainees, found nine men including the birthday boy, aged 20, positive for marijuana.

He added that one of the men is wanted by the police to facilitate investigation into a gang robbery case in Teluk Intan, Perak.

He said all the individuals are on a four-day remand from today, and the case is being investigated under Section 22 (b) of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988, Section 269 of the Penal Code and Section 39A (2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.

A police inspector was charged with 9 counts of raping & intending to outrage the modesty of two Mongolian Women

30/04/2020 02:36 PM
PETALING JAYA, April 30 -- A police inspector who was charged with trafficking in two Mongolian women for sexual exploitation yesterday, was today charged in the Sessions Court here with nine counts of raping and intending to outrage their modesty.

Hazrul Hizham Ghazali, 30, however, pleaded not guilty to all the charges which were read out before judge Norshila Kamaruddin.

On the first to the eighth charge, Hazrul Hizham, who is with the Petaling Jaya district police headquarters, was charged with raping the two Mongolian women, aged 20 and 36, by using his position of authority to get their consent.

He was alleged to have committed the offences in two separate rooms at PJ Luxe Boutique Hotel here between 12.30 am and 11 am last April 11.

The charges were framed under under Section 376 (2) (f) of the Penal Code which provides an imprisonment for up to 20 years and whipping, if found guilty.

On the ninth count, the policeman was charged under Section 354 of the Penal Code with using criminal force to the two women with intent to outrage their modesty at the camp set up for personnel on-duty at the roadblock at the NPE Toll Plaza, PJS2 here, between 5.30 pm and 6.15 pm last April 10.

He faces an imprisonment for up to 10 years, or fine, or whipping, or with any two of such punishments, if found guilty.

The prosecution, conducted by deputy public prosecutor Mohd Asnawi Abu Hanipah did not offer bail as the alleged offences involved abuse of power, but lawyer Shah Rizal Abdul Manan , representing Hazrul Hizham, requested his client to be allowed bail as he had be bailed for RM20,000 for the human trafficking case in the Klang Sessions Court yesterday.

“I believe all the cases will be heard together as they involve the same victims. The victims have been placed at a shelter home and it is impossible for the accused to intimidate them,” he added.

The court then set bail at RM27,000 in one surety for all charges and fixed June 2 for mention.

Irrfan Khan dies aged 53

Khan, an icon of Indian cinema who had a string of Anglo-American successes under his belt, including Slumdog Millionaire, Life of Pi and Jurassic World, has died in Mumbai

Irrfan Khan, one of Bollywood’s most beloved stars who had achieved considerable success in the west, has died aged 53.

He had been admitted to the intensive care unit of Mumbai’s Kokilaben hospital on Tuesday with a colon infection and on Wednesday morning a statement was released confirming his death.

“It’s saddening that this day, we have to bring forward the news of him passing away,” read the statement. “Irrfan was a strong soul, someone who fought till the very end and always inspired everyone who came close to him.”

Despite his status as one of Bollywood’s most celebrated actors, Khan had a reputation for modesty and integrity and news of his death sent India into mourning, prompting actors, fans and politicians from across the world to express their sadness at his death.

Indian prime minister Narendra Modi said that Khan’s demise was “a loss to the world of cinema and theatre. He will be remembered for his versatile performances across different mediums. My thoughts are with his family, friends and admirers. May his soul rest in peace.”

Fellow Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan said Khan’s death left a “huge vacuum”. “An incredible talent, a gracious colleague, a prolific contributor to the world of cinema … left us too soon,” tweeted Bachchan.

“The charisma you brought to everything you did was pure magic,” tweeted Priyanka Chopra. “Your talent forged the way for so many in so many avenues. You inspired so many of us. Irrfan Khan you will truly be missed. Condolences to the family.”

Indian politician Rahul Gandhi described Khan as a “versatile and talented actor” who would be “greatly missed” while Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said India had lost “one of the most exceptional actors of our time.”

In March 2018, Khan revealed he had been diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour, but after extensive treatment he recovered well enough to shoot Angrezi Medium, the film that would turn out to be his last, and whose release this March was cut short because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Best known to English-speaking audiences as the police inspector in Slumdog Millionaire and for his roles in Jurassic World and Life of Pi, Khan was a Bollywood mainstay, acting in hits such as Haider, Piku and Hindi Medium.

“I always object to the word Bollywood,” he told the Guardian in 2013. “I don’t think it’s fair to have that name. Because that industry has its own technique, its own way of making films that has nothing to do with aping Hollywood. It originates in Parsi theatre.”

Irrfan Khan: 'I object to the term Bollywood'

Khan was born Saahabzaade Irfan Ali Khan in Jaipur in 1966, the son of a tyre seller, and went to drama school after failing as a cricketer. He struggled to make headway in the film industry, despite being cast in a small role as a letter writer in Mira Nair’s 1988 Salaam Bombay! – to his frustration he only managed to find regular work in low-grade TV soap operas.

“I came into this industry to tell stories and do cinema and I was stuck in television,” he told the Guardian.

Khan’s breakthrough role came from an unlikely source: the feature debut of then-unknown British director Asif Kapadia, whose low budget samurai-esque tale, The Warrior, was shot in India. Released in 2002, The Warrior was selected for the prestigious San Sebastián film festival and won the Bafta award for best British film. Khan subsequently broke into mainstream Indian films, often playing cops or villains – including the title role of Maqbool, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth set in the Mumbai underworld. More orthodox Bollywood productions followed, such as Rog and the slice-of-life musical Life in a … Metro.

Khan also maintained a parallel career in British-American cinema: he played the chief of police in Michael Winterbottom’s A Mighty Heart, and another police officer in Slumdog Millionaire, which won eight Oscars. In later roles, he became a reliable standby character actor in big-budget Hollywood films, playing a doctor in The Amazing Spider-Man in 2012 and businessmen in Jurassic World (2015) and Inferno (2016). In 2012, he also played the adult version of the lead character in another Oscar-winner: Life of Pi, directed by Ang Lee. Director Wes Anderson said he specifically wrote a small role for Khan in his film The Darjeeling Limited just so they could work together.

Meanwhile, Khan found box-office success with the Indian-produced art film The Lunchbox, in which he played an accountant who strikes up a letter-writing romance with unhappy housewife Nimrat Kaur. Khan also continued his high Bollywood profile with significant roles in the Amitabh Bachchan comedy Piku and Hindi Medium, as a rich businessman trying to get his daughter into a good school.

Khan is survived by his wife, Sutapa Sikdar, and sons Babil and Ayan.

He was grateful for the love of his fans that poured in from the world over. In his passing, they would all understand that he would like to be remembered with a smile and not with tears.
In this hour of personal loss, we also recognise the world is going through a very difficult and troubled time. There are numerous restrictions around movement and gathering in public. We would like to request all his fans and well-wishers and friends of the family to please respect the laws that are in force.
He would not have it any other way."
Rishi Kapoor's longtime friend and co-star Amitabh Bachchan tweeted on Thursday morning, "He's gone. Rishi Kapoor, gone, just passed away. I am destroyed." Mr Kapoor and Big B starred together in films such as Kabhi Kabhie, Amar Akbar Anthony, Naseeb and Coolie - they reunited for 102 Not Out in 2018, playing father and son.
This is the film fraternity's second loss in as many days - Irrfan Khan was claimed by cancer a day ago. Rishi Kapoor had been taken to hospital, his brother Randhir Kapoor confirmed to news agency PTI yesterday. "He is in the hospital. He is suffering from cancer and he has some breathing problem, so he has been admitted to the hospital. He is stable now," Randhir Kapoor told PTI.
Rishi Kapoor spent almost a year in New York being treated for cancer and returned to Mumbai last September. In New York, Mr Kapoor had many visitors from back home, among them the Ambanis, Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone.
"Back home! 11 months, 11 days! Thank you all," Mr Kapoor tweeted after his homecoming last year.
Rishi Kapoor was taken to hospital twice in February this year - first in New Delhi, where he was attending a family event, and then in Mumbai. After being hospitalised in Delhi, Mr Kapoor tweeted, "Dear family, friends, foes and followers. I have been overwhelmed by all your concern about my health. Thank you. I have been filming in Delhi past 18 days and because of the pollution and my, I caught an infection whereby I had to be hospitalized." He also revealed that doctors had found a patch on his lungs that could have led to pneumonia.
Rishi Kapoor began his career with roles in his father Raj Kapoor's films. As a child, he made an appearance in the Shree 420 song Pyar Hua Ikrar Hua. He played a young version of his father in 1970 film Mera Naam Joker, winning the National Award for Best Child Artist for his performance. Three years later, he made his debut as a leading man in Bobby. Rishi Kapoor swiftly became the top romantic hero of his day with films such as Rafoo Chakkar and Karz. Mr Kapoor worked his entire life, delivering some of his best performances in later films like 2012's Agneepath and 2018's Mulk.

Rishi Kapoor is survived by his wife Neetu Kapoor, son Ranbir and daughter Riddhima. Last seen in the 2019 films The Body and Jhootha Kahin Ka, Mr Kapoor was meant to star in a Bollywood adaptation of The Intern with Deepika Padukone.
