Kenyataan Akhbar KPK 27 April 2020 – Situasi Semasa Jangkitan Penyakit Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) di Malaysia
STATUS TERKINI KES DISAHKAN COVID-19 YANG TELAH PULIH
Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) ingin memaklumkan bahawa terdapat 95 kes yang telah pulih dan dibenarkan discaj pada hari ini. Ini menjadikan jumlah kumulatif kes yang telah pulih sepenuhnya dari COVID-19 dan telah discaj daripada wad adalah sebanyak 3,957 kes (67.9 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes). Sekali lagi, bilangan kes yang didiscaj hari ini adalah lebih dua kali ganda bilangan kes baru yang dilaporkan.
STATUS TERKINI KES COVID-19 DI MALAYSIA
Sehingga 27 April 2020 pukul 12:00 tengah hari, terdapat 40 kes baharu yang telah dilaporkan. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 5,820 kes. Oleh itu, jumlah kes aktif dengan kebolehjangkitan COVID-19 adalah 1,764 kes. Mereka telah diasingkan dan diberi rawatan.
Sehingga kini, seramai 37 kes positif COVID-19 sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU). Daripada jumlah tersebut, 17 kes memerlukan bantuan pernafasan.
Daripada maklumat terkini yang dilaporkan ke Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) Kebangsaan, dukacita dimaklumkan bahawa terdapat pertambahan satu (1) lagi kes kematian berkaitan COVID-19. Justeru, jumlah kumulatif kes kematian COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 99 kes (1.7 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes):
- Kes kematian ke-99 (kes ke-4087) merupakan lelaki warganegara Malaysia berumur 78 tahun dan mempunyai latar belakang penyakit kencing manis, darah tinggi dan strok. Beliau telah dirawat di Hospital Enche’ Besar Hajjah Khalsom, Johor pada 7 April 2020 dan disahkan meninggal dunia pada 27 April 2020 jam 4.31 pagi.
KKM mengucapkan takziah kepada ahli keluarga beliau.
PERGERAKAN PULANG PELAJAR INSTITUT PENDIDIKAN TINGGI (IPT)
Seperti yang umumkan oleh YB Menteri Pengajian Tinggi, pelajar-pelajar di Institusi Pendidikan Tinggi Awam dan Swasta, Politeknik dan Kolej Komuniti dibenar memulakan pergerakan secara berperingkat untuk pulang ke kampung halaman masing-masing mulai 27 April 2020.
Hasil kerjasama dan perbincangan di antara pihak Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi (KPT) dan KKM, satu garis panduan telah dibangunkan di mana ianya merangkumi aspek kesihatan bagi pelajar-pelajar yang ingin pulang ke kampung halaman. Pusat Kesihatan Universiti (PKU) masing-masing akan membuat saringan bagi pelajar-pelajar (suhu badan, saringan gejala batuk, selesema, sakit tekak atau sukar bernafas) sebelum dibenarkan meneruskan perjalanan.
Sepanjang perjalanan pulang ke kampung halaman, pelajar dinasihatkan supaya sentiasa mengikut langkah-langkah pencegahan seperti berikut, iaitu:
- mengamalkan jarak sosial selamat (social distancing) sekurang-kurangya 1 meter dari orang lain;
- menjaga kebersihan diri, dengan kerap membasuh tangan dengan air dan sabun;
- menggalakkan pemakaian alat penutup mulut dan hidung (facemask) di sepanjang perjalanan.
NASIHAT KESIHATAN COVID-19
KKM menyeru agar orang ramai untuk kekal patuh kepada Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP). Bagi ketua rumah yang perlu keluar membeli barang-barang keperluan kehidupan seharian, dikehendaki sentiasa mengambil langkah-langkah pencegahan seperti:
- Elakkan keluar dari rumah sekiranya kurang sihat atau mempunyai sebarang gejala;
- Elakkan keluar secara berpasangan atau berkumpulan;
- Menggunakan hand sanitizer / mencuci tangan dengan air dan sabun sebelum dan selepas aktiviti pembelian;
- Mengamalkan jarak sosial selamat (social distancing) sekurang-kurangnya 1 meter dari orang lain;
- Elakkan 3C: Kawasan yang sesak (Crowded place), kawasan yang sempit Cconfined space), bertutur dengan jarak yang dekat (Close conversation);
- Hadkan masa anda di tempat-tempat awam;
- Sekiranya mempunyai alat penutup mulut dan hidung (facemask) bolehlah digunakan, terutama sekiranya ke kawasan umum yang ramai orang;
Langkah-langkah berikut boleh membantu memutuskan rantaian penularan COVID-19.
KKM akan terus memantau perkembangan kejadian COVID-19 melalui segala maklumat yang diperolehi dan akan dimaklumkan kepada rakyat dari semasa ke semasa.

UPDATES ON THE CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19)
SITUATION IN MALAYSIA
Current Status of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Who Have Recovered
27 April 2020 – The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 95 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today, making the Cumulatively, 3,957 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged well (67.9% of total cumulative cases). Again, the number of cases discharged well is more than double the number of additional cases reported today.
Current Situation of COVID-19 in Malaysia
27 April 2020, 12 pm – A total of 40 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 5,820 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 1,764 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have been isolated and provided treatment.
Currently, 37 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICU), and of these, 17 cases are on ventilation support.
Regretfully, one (1) additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH. Cumulatively, there are now 99 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.7% of total cumulative cases):
- Death #99: Case 4,087 is a 78 year-old Malaysian man with a history of diabetes, hypertension and stroke. He was admitted into Enche’ Besar Hajjah Khalsom Hospital, Johor on 7 April 2020 and was pronounced dead on 27 April 2020 at 4.31 am.
MOH conveys condolences to the family members.
Movements of Students in Institutions of Higher Education to Return Home
As announced by the Minister of Higher Education, students at Public and Private Institutions of Higher Education, Polytechnics and Community Colleges have been allowed to begin the gradual movement to return to their respective homes from 27 April 2020.
As a result of collaboration and discussion between the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and MOH, a guideline has been developed that covers the health aspects for students who wish to return home. The respective University Health Centres will conduct screening for students (body temperature, symptoms of cough, colds, sore throat or shortness of breath) before being allowed to travel.
During the journey, students are advised to always comply to the following precautionary and preventive measures:
- Practice safe social distancing of at least 1 meter away from others
- Maintain good personal hygiene, regularly washing hands with water and soap
- Wearing face masks throughout the journey is encouraged
Health Advisory on COVID-19
MOH strongly urges the public to remain in compliance with the Movement Control Order (MCO). For heads of households who need to go out to buy everyday necessities, they should always take precautionary measures such as:
- Avoid leaving the house if unwell or have any symptoms
- Avoid leaving the house as a couple or in groups
- Use hand sanitisers or wash hands with water and soap before and after purchasing products
- Practice safe social distancing at least 1 metre away from others
- Avoid the 3C’s: Crowded places, Confined spaces and Close conversations (face-to-face conversations)
- Limit time spent outside in public and crowded places
- The use of facemasks is encouraged, especially in public and crowded areas
These measures can help to break the COVID-19 infection transmission chain.
MOH will continue to monitor the development of the COVID-19 situation based on all available information, and the public will be continuously updated on the latest information.
