Dato' Sheikh Abdullah bin Sheikh Ahmad Bahweres or better known as Dato' Shake (born 20 May 1950) is a Malaysian singer who made a name for himself in France
In 1983, he made his first recording in Malay, from then on he went on to release 10 albums which included Kau Bungaku (1983), Bicara Tentang Cinta (1984), Cinta Dan Hidup (1984) dan Chameleon (2012).
Fans continue to fall in love with his unique voice and ability to sing French, Malay and English songs.
Dato Shake's fairy tale begins in France in the heart of the 70s, after being noticed in a Malaysian bar by two girls seduced by his voice, he boarded a plane with a one way ticket to Paris. Shake, spotted by Orlando, brought life into French music with eclecticism, open-mindedness and fresh air that it often lacks.
Dato Shake made a name for himself as a famous international artist based in Paris and recipient of the Chevalier des art et Lettre (Knight of the Order of Arts Letters and Merits ) of the prestigious French Empire, for his contribution to promoting the French language and culture throughout Asia.
In 2019 Dato Shake performed LIVE at the prestigious Parisian Grand Rex on Friday, February 19, 2016. The Grand Rex is a well-known cinema and concert hall noted for its sumptuous decoration and its outsized main auditorium, which is the largest cinema theatre in Europe.
InTour Live Events and iMe Entertainment Group are the organiser of Dato Shake's concert at Zepp KL's. This concert will showcase the fascinating journey of exploring the chronology of his musical career.
All the best repertoire in his musical career will be presented, namely famous Malay and French songs and an unforgettable collection of green evergreens that are popular among Malaysians and abroad.
Dato 'Shake said that returning to his homeland to support fans in his beloved homeland was a dream he had planned since 2020. However, the plan was postponed due to the pandemic, thanks to the organisers this dream will soon be realized.
Meanwhile, InTour Live Events describes Konsert Dato Shake Zepp KL as a destination for fans to wander back into the past with Dato Shake's hit works.
"Therefore, we are very excited to present Dato Shake in Concert at Zepp KL because fans will not only be able to go home with nostalgia through his Malay songs and will instead be enchanted by the pop and rock genres in French and English which have made him a respected entertainer worldwide.
"More than that, we at InTour Live Events and iMe Entertainment Group hope that the Dato Shake Zepp KL Concert will cure fans' longing for the beloved legend.
"Fans will witness a quality performance by Parisian musician, who has been Dato Shake's regular musician throughout his career," said InTour Live Events co-organizer Bonor Seen.
The Dato Shake Zepp KL Concert will see the singer entertain fans for 90 minutes starting at 8.30pm.
