ELON MUSK announced the cage fight between him and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg will be broadcast live on his social media platform X or previously known as Twitter.
The two social media icons have challenged each other to unite and fight in a martial arts cage in Las Vegas, United States (USA) since last June.
"The Zuck v Musk fight will be broadcast live on X. All proceeds will be donated to the welfare of veterans," Musk said in a post on X on Sunday without sharing further details.
Earlier, Musk announced at X that he, "prepares himself every day by doing heavy lifting activities in preparation for the fight" and said that his time was so limited that it forced him to train by lifting weights.
Asked by navigator X what the fight was for, Musk said: “This is a civilized war. Men love war."
To date, there has been no response from Meta or Zuckerberg regarding Musk's plans.
Enthusiasm for the fight between the two world-famous personalities erupted after Musk, 52, in a post on social media on June 20 said that he was "ready to fight in the cage" with Zuckerberg, 39, who was spotted undergoing jiujitsu martial arts training.
A day later, Zuckerberg responded to Musk's challenge by sharing photos of the tournament he won on the Instagram social media account he founded by leaving a message for his competitor to "send the location" regarding the wish.
And Musk didn't wait long to respond to Zuckerberg's message by answering "Octagon Vegas" which refers to the location of the world's mixed martial arts (MMA) championships. - Agency
