Muhyiddin's son-in-law, lawyer was put on an Interpol red notice

Muhyiddin Yassin's son-in-law and a lawyer have been placed on the International Police (Interpol) red notice list because they are wanted by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), this matter was confirmed by Inspector General of Police Razarudin Husain.


"Yes, done. A red notice was imposed on them," 


The two individuals are Muhammad Adlan Berhan, who is married to Muhyiddin's son, Nabilah, and Mansoor Saat, a lawyer and an important figure in NERS Sdn Bhd.


MACC claims they are required in relation to a project involving the registration and storage of biometric information for foreign workers. Both fled the country in May.


An anonymous source who claimed Muhammad Adlan left the country through the Johor Bahru border.


"He is believed to be leaving for a third country," said the source.


Muhammad Adlan, through his lawyer, issued a statement claiming that he was unlawfully targeted and caused him suffering and financial ruin.


He also claimed that bank accounts, both personal and those linked to his company, were frozen without notice.


As for Mansoor, he claims that he is a victim of political persecution.


In 2011, NERS Sdn Bhd was awarded a 12-year contract to monitor the entry of foreigners into Malaysia and issue Visiting (Temporary Employment) Passes (PLKS).
