Kelantan FC Suffers Biggest Ever Defeat Losing To Selangor 11-2, after losing 0-8 to Terengganu and 0-10 against JDT last week.

 

Kelantan FC beaten 2-11 by Selangor in Kota Bharu

Kelantan FC intention to surprised Selangor FC with the use of young players and failed when they lost 2-11 at home in the Super League action at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium, on Friday.

The Red Warriors (TRW) initially surprised The Red Giant through Natanael Siringo Ringo's penalty kick in the sixth minute.

Selangor's free kick was also successfully blocked by Kelantan players in the ninth minute.

The home goalkeeper also stopped Selangor's progress in the goal in the tenth minute

Selangor Shahrul Nazeem Zulpakar's defensive error in the 14th minute gave a second chance to TRW player, Mohamad Fazrul Amir Md Zaman, who scored through Natanael Siringo Ringo's pass in the 14th minute.

However, Kelantan FC's joy was short-lived when a simple lob from guest player Yohandry Jose Orozzo Cujia entered the goal in the 29th minute.

Three minutes later, Shahrul Nazeem made amends with a header from a corner kick in the 31st minute to see a 2-2 draw.

Selangor FC then added a goal from a corner kick by its striker, Ayron Del Valle Rooriguez in the 43rd minute.

A minute later Ayron scored with a header from a corner kick making it four goals in total in the first half.

Continuing the second half, Selangor feasted on goals when they penetrated the home team's goal seven times.

The exchange of players, Muhammad Mukhairi Ajmal Mahadi with Mohamad Faisal Abdul Halim gave Selangor FC a chance to win.

Selangor added a fifth goal with a simple kick in the 47th minute through Richmond Boakye-Yiadom.

Two minutes later, Mohamad Faisal scored The Red Giant's sixth goal.

In the 52nd minute, Mohamad Faisal once again disappointed the hosts with the seventh goal.

Ten minutes later, Ayron scored a hat-trick by adding Selangor FC's eighth goal.

Selangor continued to feast on goals when Richmond Boakye-Yiadom added a goal through a simple header in the 78th minute.

Richmond Boakye-Yiadom's hat-trick in the 36th minute gave Selangor their 10th goal and less than a minute later Ayron added The Red Giant's 11th goal.

Final result, Kelantan FC 2, Selangor FC 11.

The big defeat was TRW's third after losing 0-8 to Terengganu (14 August 2023) and 0-10 against Johor Darul Ta'zim last week.

Meanwhile, in the 1,002 crowd, the TRW Supporters Club, Gate H Boys formed a sad emoji formation in the stands shouting 'Zam Bual'.
