All those stranded for 15 hours in a cable car in Pakistan were rescued

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani military commandos and local volunteers managed to rescue all eight people including six school students who were stranded in a damaged cable car after 15 hours, officials said, dpa news agency reported.
They were trapped at about 7 a.m. Tuesday when three steel wires of the cable car they were riding on to cross a gap between two mountains snapped , local police officer Tahir Ayub said.
Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar announced that the operation was completed at about 11 pm.
