SHAH ALAM : Social media users raised questions regarding the absence of the Minister of Economy, Rafizi Ramli in a meeting held by the Prime Minister , Anwar Ibrahim with economists and industry experts to discuss the country's direction.
On the other hand, former Member of Parliament for Rembau, Khairy Jamaluddin was invited by Anwar to attend the meeting even though he is not known as an economic expert.
However, it is not certain what role Khairy Jamaluddin or KJ played in the meeting.
A Facebook user, Ahmad Mohamad said, discuss economic matters without the Minister of Economy, but why?
"We still need his formula," he joked.
According to another surfer who uses Facebook Nossbarber thinks that Rafizi should be in the discussion because it involves the country's economy.
"It doesn't matter if it's a view or what, he should be the Minister of Economy," he said.
In addition, there are also netizens linking KJ's involvement in the discussion because there are rumors that he will join the opposition party ahead of the State Election soon.
One of the Facebook users, Adnan Jaafar, questioned whether the Anwar-led government was worried if KJ joined Perikatan Nasional (PN).
"Are you worried about KJ joining PN?" he asked.
"I want to persuade KJ, because Wak Jahid, KJ has already refused," said a Facebook account user named Lajiah Jiah.
However, there were people who supported Anwar's action by calling KJ to attend the discussion.
"It is not wrong to discuss the direction of the country together. Our country is together," said one of the Facebook users.
