Two men who were arrested after allegedly punching a convenience store employee in the face in Semenyih in an incident last Tuesday, have been remanded for six days starting today to assist in the investigation.
The suspects, aged 31 and 32 respectively, were remanded until June 27 for the investigation of the case according to Section 394 of the Penal Code.

The remand order was issued by Magistrate Nurdiyanah Mohd Nawawi against the suspects aged 31 and 32 respectively at the Bandar Baru Bangi Magistrate's Court, this morning, according to Berita Harian.
Meanwhile, the victim's father, Shahrul Aminshah Aziz, 40, said he was grateful when the police managed to track down two suspects believed to be involved in the beating case involving his 18-year-old son.
"I hope this case can be resolved soon and that the offender gets a punishment commensurate with the pain and trauma my son suffered," he said when contacted.
