Selfie after robbery: Two Suspects who beat convenience store worker arrested

One of the suspects is also said to have taken a selfie with the shop employee involved.
KAJANG: Two individuals believed to have injured a man in a beating at a convenience store in Semenyih were arrested by the police on Wednesday.
Kajang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zaid Hassan said both suspects are local men.
"The two suspects aged 31 and 32 were arrested by a team of police officers from the Serious Crime Branch (D9) of the Kajang District Police Headquarters (IPD) in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan and Sepang, Selangor.
"The arrests, which were carried out at about 11.30am and 12.30pm, police also confiscated two mobile phones to help the investigation," he said in a statement on Wednesday.
He said,on checking they found that both suspects have records involving criminal and drug cases.
"The case is being investigated under Section 394 of the Penal Code," he said.
Before that, an employee of a convenience store in Semenyih was reportedly injured and beaten in an incident on Tuesday.
The victim was beaten for claiming that the suspect took three umbrella sticks and left the premises without wanting to make any payment.
One of the suspects is also said to have taken a selfie with the shop employee.
The victim who suffered facial injuries received treatment at the hospital before coming forward to make a police report for further action.
