Baby Naail received RM9.8 million Zolgensma injection

On April 14, a fundraising campaign to cover medical costs was launched after Baby Naail's story caught the attention of Misi Rakyat.
SHAH ALAM: Wan Muhammad Naail Wan Aslam, also known as Baby Naail, who was diagnosed with a rare disease, Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 1 last April received an injection of Zolgensma worth RM9.8 million yesterday.
A video uploaded through Misi Rakyat Founder's Tiktok account went viral because donations from the public have enabled Baby Naail to receive the treatment.
The owner of the account, Nur Ahmad Faiz Mohd Azmi explained in the video that the injection process took an hour to complete.
He also shared Baby Naail's reaction to the whole of Malaysia and the average netizen expressed gratitude, happiness and tears for seeing the baby's smile.
At the end of the video, the Founder of the Mission thanked everyone who had contributed this time.
"Thank you godly souls," he said.

Funds for the purchase of the Zolgensma injectable drug were successfully obtained after a month of launching as a result of contributions from Malaysians.
In the comment section, netizens praised his efforts to open a relief mission fund for Baby Naail.
"Alhamdulillah, thanks to the Mission Founder, may God bless you," said the owner of the Intanliyana account through the comment section.
"Oh GOD, I shed tears when I see Baby Naail smiling, Alhamdulillah oh God, thank you all for helping Baby Naail and Baby Athif," commented by Qieyarahim.
Similarly, the user of the Haziqyusri account said, thank you Malaysians for uniting for this mission, remember we take care of us #rakyatjagarakyat
