Japanese rider, Noguchi dies after accident on Sunday

Japanese rider, Haruki Noguchi, who was involved in an accident during the ASB 1000 Asian Motorcycle Championship (ARRC) race at the Mandalika International Circuit, Indonesia last Sunday was confirmed dead yesterday evening.
The Asian International Motor Association (FIM) in a statement just now confirmed that Haruki breathed his last at 5.40pm yesterday at the West Nusa Tenggara General Hospital.
In the fourth round race, Haruki was involved in an accident at the 10th corner of the fourth round - which also involved two national riders, Zaqhwan Zaidi and Kasma Daniel Kasmayuddin.
The 22-year-old rider was given immediate treatment at the circuit's health center before being transferred to a local hospital.
After fighting for his life for three days in the intensive care unit, Haruki was pronounced dead from his injuries.
"The President of FIM Asia and its board of directors, Two Wheels Motor Racing and the ARRC Family send their condolences to the family, friends and loved ones of Haruki Noguchi," the statement said
