SEOUL: A South Korean Air Force fighter jet on Thursday accidentally dropped eight bombs outside the training area, injuring seven civilians, Yonhap News Agency quoted officials as saying.

A KF-16 fighter jet belonging to the South Korean Air Force accidentally dropped eight MK-82 bombs outside a training ground in Pocheon, injuring seven civilians.

The incident occurred at 10.04 a.m. local time during a live-fire drill.

The South Korean Air Force is conducting an investigation and apologizing for the damage and injuries sustained by the victims.
