ROME: Pope Francis' health condition is now stable, but he still needs to be treated in hospital, the medical team said on Monday, the German news agency (dpa) reported.
The 88-year-old Catholic supreme leader has been receiving treatment at Rome's Gemelli Hospital since Feb 14 due to pneumonia.
During the treatment period, she suffered from several complications and required oxygen assistance due to respiratory problems. Following his health condition, the Vatican has once again canceled Sunday's weekly religious service in St. Peter's Square for the fourth time in a row.
