MONTEVIDEO: A plane carrying five passengers exploded in Ubatuba, on the coast of Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Thursday.
In the incident, the plane reportedly exploded after taking off from the runway and crashing into the beach.
Elaborating further, the authorities said that one pilot died, while a couple and their two children were rescued. All victims of the incident were immediately taken to hospital.
According to the airport operator, the weather was bad when the accident occurred while the runway in the Praia do Cruzeiro area was reported to be wet.
