KUALA LUMPUR: Nightline TV3 newsreader Raymond Goh passed away at around 10.40 this morning at a private medical center in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
Before that, he was reported to be critical after suffering a stroke and was treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.
The news of Raymond's passing was confirmed by his family in a statement issued a while ago.
According to his wife Faridah Teh, funeral prayers will be held at Masjid At-Taqwa, Taman Tun Dr Ismail and buried at Bukit Kiara Islamic Cemetery, here, after Asar prayers today.
Raymond began his career as a news anchor on the 7 O'clock News and later moved to the station's Nightline broadcast.
He served in the world of broadcasting for over 30 years

Raymond passed away peacefully this morning after bravely battling the effects of a stroke.
The funeral prayers will be held at Masjid At-Taqwa, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur after Asar prayer and he will be laid to rest at Bukit Kiara Muslim Cemetery today.
