Chai Ruong Huei, 32, who was also found guilty of stealing the girl's iPad, was also ordered to be whipped 12 times.
Sessions Court judge Emelia Kaswati Mohamad Khalid rejected Chai's application for a stay of execution.
She instructed the sentences to run after the completion of the earlier sentences which Chai was convicted for on March 26. This case is pending appeal.
Chai received 18 years and six strokes for each of the two counts of raping the girl in a room in New Three Three Hotel in Jalan Manis 7, Taman Segar, Cheras between 2.10pm and 2.30pm on Sept 15, 2012.
He was jailed five years for robbing the girl of the iPad at the same time and place.
Judge Emelia Kaswati ordered the sentences to run concurrently, meaning Chai would serve only 18 years and receive 12 strokes of the cane.
Earlier, counsel Mohd Yusof Ag. Lah said Chai was the eldest of three siblings who needed his support.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Nadia Malek Fauzie urged the court to consider the victim's impact statement and public interest, adding that the victim had migrated following the incident.
She said that Chai was convicted on March 26 for sexual offences on another victim.
Chai had filed an appeal against his sentences which included a 35 year jail term and nine strokes of the cane
