Jalan Bukit Bintang stretch closed to traffic from today

APRIL 24, 2014
The 500m stretch of Jalan Bukit Bintang between Chulan Square and Menara Worldwide will be closed to all traffic beginning today.
Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp), in a statement today, said the closure was because of road rectification works following the detection of a depression beneath the pedestrian walkway in Jalan Bukit Bintang.
A traffic contra-flow has been implemented whereby traffic from Jalan Bukit Bintang heading to Jalan Tun Razak will be directed onto two lanes in the opposite (Bukit Bintang-bound) direction. Two remaining lanes will still be available for Jalan Bukit Bintang-bound traffic.
For alternative routes, refer to the map above.
