KUALA LUMPUR : Datuk Seri Sulaiman Abdul Rahman Taib, the third son of the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud, has reportedly filed a lawsuit against his stepmother, Toh Puan Raghad Kurdi.
The lawsuit is understood to be related to the transfer of shares of a private company to Raghad.
Citing The Borneo Post report , the mention of the case will be read before High Court Judge Alexander Siew next Monday.
Sulaiman also reportedly named Raghad and another person as defendants.
Sulaiman, 55, was the former Deputy Minister of Tourism in 2008 before resigning a year later.
He is currently acting as the Managing Director of Cahya Mata Sarawak Group (CMS).
His mother, the late Laila Taib, died in April 2009.
Taib married Raghad in December of the following year.
