Hans Isaac appointed Chairman of Perbadanan Stadium Malaysia

The Ministry of Youth and Sports announced the appointment of Datuk Hans Isaac as the new Chairman of Perbadanan Stadium Malaysia (PSM) for the 2023/2025 session
KUALA LUMPUR: Well-known personality, Datuk Hans Isaac was announced as the new Chairman of the Perbadanan Stadium Malaysia (PSM) for the 2023/2025 session.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) in a statement distributed last night said, Hans Isaac or his real name, Gerald Hans Isaac, is among 16 individuals from the corporate sector, sports associations and the government sector who were appointed as Board Members.
Its minister, Hannah Yeoh, said the appointment of new members was done to ensure PSM's direction in sustainable facility management, practicing good corporate governance and providing efficient and professional services to all parties.
"The matter also involves efforts to popularize PSM facilities for use by the public in promoting a healthy lifestyle," he said.
In his career as an artist, Hans Isaac starred in many local films and dramas almost 30 years ago and was once appointed as the Chairman of the National Film Development Corporation (Finas).
In 2017, Hans Isaac, who is now 51 years old, announced his decision to retire as an artist because he wanted to focus on other fields.
While in the political arena, Hans Isaac in July 2022 won the position of Ampang PKR Leader in addition to being appointed as a PKR Central Leadership Council Member.
In addition to Hans Isaac, KBS also announced the appointment of several other personalities from the corporate sector as Members of the PSM Corporation for the 2023/2025 session.
They consist of the Secretary General of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), Datuk Seri Windsor Paul John and the Senior General Manager of Petronas Group Strategic Relations and Communications, Datin Anita Azrina Abdul Aziz.
Not to be left out is television personality as well as corporate member and international event organizer, Zahir Kelvin Ong Abdullah and co-founder of ScaleUp Malaysia and Remote Ventures, Aaron Sarma.
Meanwhile, KBS also announced five personalities from sports associations and six representatives from the government sector including PSM Chief Executive Officer Mohd Faidz Sanusi as PSM Corporation Members.
"The PSM Board members consist of five female members who comprise 31.25 percent of the membership and the Corporation Members together with PSM Chief Executive Officer Mohd Faidz Sanusi and PSM senior management to reinvent the approach to the facility management industry for all," the statement added.
