Hishammuddin test positive for COVID-19

KUALA LUMPUR: Senior Minister of Defence, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein was confirmed positive for COVID-19.
The matter was confirmed by the Defence ministry on Tuesday.
Adding to the statement, Hishammuddin who has received a booster dose will undergo a period of isolation according to the current ruling issued by the Ministry of Health (MOH).
"He has undergone COVID-19 detection test type RT-PCR on a regular basis besides also regularly doing self-detection test (self-test) through RTK Antigen method.
“The last time he underwent an RT-PCR type detection test and got a negative result of COVID-19 was on Friday, 18 February 2022.
"He will continue to monitor and carry out his duties as appropriate during the isolation period," the statement added.
