Hishammuddin undergoes treatment, monitoring at HAT Tuanku Mizan

KUALA LUMPUR: Senior Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein is currently admitted to Tuanku Mizan Armed Forces Hospital (HAT) after being confirmed positive for COVID-19 yesterday.
In a statement, Hishammuddin said he was currently suffering from symptoms but was in good condition.
", I have been advised to undergo isolation at HAT Tuanku Mizan for treatment and monitoring purposes," he said.
At the same time he apologized for not being able to reply to all the get well wishes and prayers he received.
“However, on behalf of my family members, I really appreciate and thank all those who care and pray for my recovery.
The Office of the Senior Minister of Defence in a statement yesterday informed that Hishammuddin who had received the booster dose was confirmed positive for COVID-19 and underwent a quarantine period set by the Ministry of Health (MOH).
He underwent RT-PCR type COVID-19 detection test on a regular basis and also regularly performed self-detection tests through the RTK Antigen method.
The last time he underwent an RT-PCR type detection test and got a negative result of COVID-19 was on Friday, 18 February.
