KUALA LUMPUR: The National Security Council (MKN) has announced that three people will now be allowed to travel in the same car during the conditional movement control order (CMCO) period.
Senior Minister for Security Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the decision was made following numerous requests to relax the previous two-to-a-car rule.
“Today’s meeting has agreed to give flexibility, and allow three people to one car. This is the same rule for taxis and e-hailing vehicles,” he said at a press conference today.
