The Health Ministry announced 4,301 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Friday, bringing the total number of infections nationwide to 353,461.

According to data released by the ministry on Friday, 79 more people have died of the disease, bringing the death toll to 12,347. The total number of recovered patients has also increased to 277,544.

The ministry added 30,197 people were tested on Friday, bringing the total number of people tested to 2,479,922.

The capital city recorded 1,045 new confirmed cases, bringing the total tally to 92,382.

Meanwhile, West Sumatra reported 484 new cases, Central Java 443, West Java 424, East Java 291 and Riau 278.

The virus has spread to all of the country's 34 provinces. (kmt)
