MUADZAM SHAH : Another victim involved in a bus accident on Jalan Kuantan-Segamat near the Bahau three-way junction here has died.
The third victim who died was identified as 60-year-old Hamzah Ahmad.
Rompin District Police Chief, Deputy Superintendent Nor Azman Yusof said, the victim who was also a teacher was confirmed dead while receiving treatment at the Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital (HTAA) Kuantan.
Before that, a female passenger and the second driver of the bus carrying a group of teachers from Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Jeram, Masjid Tanah, Melaka died after the vehicle involved crashed into a trailer at Kilometer 126 of Jalan Kuantan-Segamat near the third junction to Bahau here on Sunday.
The victim, Hasnatul Adilah Hassan, 48, died at the scene of the incident while Mohd Adi Hasan, 29, died on the way to Muadzam Shah Hospital.
The bus involved, believed to be on its way to Terengganu, was also reported to have skidded and plunged down the slope at Kilometer (KM) 126 of Jalan Kuantan-Segamat near the third junction to Bahau.
