Student slapped senior, close jealousy with boyfriend is believed to be the cause

IPOH: Police are investigating a bullying case involving a 13-year-old female student who was bullied by two senior students at a secondary school in Kerian district.
Perak Police Chief, Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri said, on Monday, his party detected a 1 minute 21 second video showing a female student being bullied.
He said, the investigation found that the actual incident happened on June 14 at about 10.30am where the victim was bullied by two 15-year-old female students at the same school.
"One of the suspects took the victim into the school toilet.
"When the victim arrived there, the suspect along with another student slapped the victim repeatedly and recorded a video of the incident.
"The incident is believed to be caused by the suspect's jealousy towards the victim who is said to be close to her boyfriend who is also 15 years old and attends the same high school," he said in a statement on Tuesday.
Mohd Yusri said a police report was made by the victim today and the case was classified according to Section 323 of the Penal Code.
He added that the case is still under investigation.
Therefore, he said, the public is asked not to make any speculations that could further complicate the situation.
