PATTANI (Thailand): The Malaysian Government's decision to allow the entry of buses from Thailand to Malaysia will boost the growth of the tourism sector in both countries, said Pattani Regional Governor Pateemoh Sadeeyamu.

He said, with that permission many Thai tourists will go to Malaysia which has various interesting tourist attractions.

According to him, the matter will indirectly strengthen the relationship between Malaysia and Thailand.







"Therefore, I would like to thank the Malaysian Government for allowing the entry of tourist buses from Thailand.

In addition, I also welcome the arrival of tourists from Malaysia to Thailand, which is known as a food paradise," he said.

Pateemoh said this to reporters at the Official Visit Program of the Ambassadors of the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to the south of Thailand.

Last May, the Minister of Transport, Anthony Loke announced that buses from Thailand were allowed to enter Malaysia but had to make an application with the Land Public Transport Agency first and a temporary permit would be issued to the applicant. - BERNAMA
