One dead, 25 injured in gunfire incident in Ohio
OHIO: At least one person died and 25 were injured in a shooting incident in Akron, Ohio, United States (US).
The Akron Police Department on Sunday said it received several calls after midnight reporting the incident at Kelly Street and 8th Avenue.
Several victims with gunshot wounds were then taken to a nearby hospital.
According to local media, a firearm and several bullet casings were also found at the scene.
The police, however, have not yet provided any information about the victim or the suspect.
The mayor of Akron, Shammas Malik meanwhile also urged the public to provide any information related to the incident and informed that his side will continue to work to ensure that armed violence is stopped.
