The TikTok Awards Malaysia 2023 took place at the Malaysia International
Trade and Exhibition Center (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur on 27 August 2023
with the theme 'What's Big on the Small Screen,' as a tribute to talented
local content creators.
A total of 13 categories were contested and divided into Jury's Choice
(Judge Pick) and Fan's Choice / Popular (People's Choice).
For the Jury's Choice, the results are determined based on the evaluation
criteria that have been set by the executive panel, while for the Fan's
Choice, this determination is open to the public and fans who contribute
votes to the creators of their choice.
This lively event started with the Red Carpet segment presented by the duo
Ceddy Ang and Sissy Imann as hosts. On the main stage, the audience was
entertained by the presence of the trio Izzue Islam, Sherry Alhadad and
Amelia Henderson as the hosts of the event.
In addition, the event was also enlivened with exciting performances from a line-up of famous local singers included Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza, Ziana Zain, Zeppo Youngsterz, Dolla, Marsha Milan Londoh, Ernie Zakri and Alyph.

Entrepreneur Khairul Aming emerged the main winner in the inaugural TikTok Awards MY 2023 tonight.
Khairul won the Creator Of The Year award in the People's Choice category determined by public voting.
The 30-year-old Kelantanese thanked all of his fans for supporting his culinary-themed TikTok videos which focused on his Sambal Nyet products.
"Thank you so much for supporting my social media posts all these years. Food, especially Malaysian traditional cuisine, is my passion," said Khairul who has more than 3.7 million Instagram followers.
