Sri Pahang beat Negri with stunning second-half comeback
KUALA LUMPUR: Sri Pahang produced one of the most amazing comebacks in the Super League when they scored three goals in the final 10 minutes to edge Negri Sembilan 4-3 at Darulmakmur Stadium in Kuantan today.
Negri took the lead in the eighth minute through Herold Goulan while Shahrel Fikri Fauzi added a second in the 15th minute.
Sri Pahang reduced the deficit when Brundo converted from the penalty spot in the 24th minute before Negri regained their two-goal advantage when Anselmo da Silva scored a third a minute later.
Negri trooped off 3-1 at half-time.
However, a resilient Sri Pahang scored in the 80th and 90th minutes through David Rowley and Brundo to level the match.
Kpah Sherman headed in Sri Pahang's winner in the fourth minute of stoppage time for their first win in three matches.
