KULAI: A Mack truck belonging to the Royal Family of Johor was involved in an accident at Kilometer 18.8 of the North-South Highway (Southern Direction) here, yesterday afternoon.
Kulai District Police Chief, Superintendent Tok Beng Yeow said, in the incident at 6.50pm, a lorry and a car were also damaged.
"Preliminary investigations at the scene found that the accident was suspected to have occurred when the trailer's tire burst suddenly while it was moving from the north to the south.
"No injuries were reported by all the victims, including the 39-year-old driver of the Mack trailer involved.
"The case is classified under Rule 10 of the Road Traffic Rules 1959 (Rule 10 LN 166/59)," he said here today.
