Actress Yana Samsudin claims incident with cosmetics entrepreneur Aliff Syukri that went viral on social media is real!

Actress and lawyer, Yana Samsudin, 39, claims that the incident with cosmetics entrepreneur, Datuk Seri Aliff Syukri that went viral on social media over the past few days, is not a cheap controversy, but rather, a real incident.

Revealing to BH Online, Yana claimed that the incident happened while hosting a Raya program produced by Astro, two weeks ago.

"What happened was not an act or a cheap controversy as many thought, on the contrary, this incident really happened.

"My husband, Fadzil Zahari and I did not expect this video to go viral after two weeks of the incident.

We were surprised because we believed that the producer, Alif Farhan, had resolved this issue with Aliff since the incident happened during the recording.

"The producer said he would take responsibility and resolve it. However, instead the video of the fight went viral and Aliff demanded that I pay damages worth RM400,000, if not face a lawsuit.

"Honestly, I am not afraid of Aliff's bluff. Because of my principles, brave because it is true," she claimed.

Earlier, a video of Aliff and Fadzil's fight went viral when the businessman went berserk and accused Yana of breaking a decorative vase worth RM400,000 while recording a Raya program at his residence.

Narrating what happened, Yana or her real name, Norliana Samsudin, claimed that she was doing her job as a host by interviewing Aliff about Raya preparations and so on.

"That's when Aliff started showing home goods including brand name crockery sets and expensive vases.

"The vase is in the cupboard and has a certificate, so I do know this vase is a valuable item and I wouldn't dare touch it.

"Aliff held the vase and showed it to me. He told me to hold the vase, but I didn't want to touch it.

"When he wanted to give me the vase, I didn't accept it. That's when the vase slipped from his grasp and fell.

"I wonder why he wanted me to touch such a valuable thing. I was scared.

"So, the accusation that I broke the vase is ridiculous, when I didn't even touch it," Yana claimed.

Yana claimed that Aliff started raging like a madman when the vase broke.

"Aliff was angry because I didn't accept the vase. He was the one who threw the vase, and I was blamed.

"He started babbling and uttering insulting words. That made Fadzil lose his temper and start fighting with him.

"Indeed the incident of Fadzil fighting with him really happened, it was not an act.

"In the video that went viral, I was really confused because I was surprised. I also tried to calm the situation as my husband was 'upset'.

"Many argue that my face is not like a person in fear. Why should I be afraid, when I did not break the vase," he claimed.

She was not afraid because she had evidence during the recording.

"At the time of the incident, the recording was in progress. So, of course, the video recording is proof that I am innocent and did not break the vase.

"If Aliff wants to sue, I don't care. I will not pay RM400,000 in damages because it was clearly not me who threw the vase.

"In the footage we can see that Aliff intentionally dropped the vase, so why should I be blamed?" he claimed.

The actress  claimed that she was injured when the splinters of the vase hit her left hand and caused some bleeding.

"I should have been the one who was angry and dissatisfied.

"The ring finger was injured and splashes of blood hit Aliff's shirt. For almost two weeks I was in pain. I couldn't cook, and even showering was difficult.

"Thank God, now the wound is getting better," she said.

Yana claims that she and her husband also do not want to be involved in cheap controversy like this.

"Many accuse us of conspiring with Aliff to do a cheap gimmick. Have I ever done a gimmick like this before?

"If I wanted this program to go viral, I would first upload the incident on social media, but I didn't do it.

"I didn't expect Aliff to upload a video of the fight and demand compensation and give me 48 hours," he said.

Regardless, she said, he will not pay damages and is ready to face Aliff's lawsuit.
