PUTRAJAYA: Minister of Human Resources, V Sivakumar was confirmed to have been at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) office here on Sunday, to complete the investigation carried out by the agency after arresting three individuals including two ministry officials last week.

Sources said, Sivakumar is believed to have gone to the MACC office at around 10am this morning.

"He came to help complete the investigation carried out by the MACC after arresting three individuals including two of its officers last week," he said simply.

On Thursday, MACC Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki confirmed that Sivakumar's Private Secretary was arrested.

The arrest of the Minister's Private Secretary was carried out by the MACC at about 2.30am after his special duties officer was arrested before that.

Previously, the media reported that Sivakumar's special duties officer  was arrested after he was believed to have acted as a ' runner ' to collect bribes from certain agents in order to be given quotas for hiring foreign workers.

However, MACC is still investigating the allegations
