Covid-19 Indonesia reported 4,056 new cases total now at 311,176 & 121 new deaths taking total to 11,374

COVID-19: Indonesia records 4,056 new positive cases

JAKARTA, Oct 6  -- Indonesia has recorded 4,056 COVID-19 new positive cases within a period of 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases of 311,176.

Based on information on the official Twitter account of the Indonesian National Agency for Disaster Management (BNPB) today, 140,305 patients were still being monitored for the viral infection.

Between noon yesterday and noon today, 121 more deaths occurred, bringing the cumulative number to 11,374.

Jakarta province has recorded the highest total number of positive cases in the republic, with 80,979 including 1,107 new cases.

East Java province has the highest total number of fatalities so far, with 3,325 followed by Jakarta (1,802),  Central Java (1,457) and the rest of the provinces.
