Firefighters battle large blaze in Bangsar Utama

KUALA LUMPUR: Fire has reportedly broken out at KTM’s longhouse quarters in Bangsar Utama, and personnel from the Hang Tuah Fire and Rescue station are currently on the scene, battling to douse the flames.
The blaze is located near the Bangsar LRT station and Sri Pahang flats, and initial worries were that the fire would spread to those premises.
Early images and video from the scene, taken by passers-by, show a column of thick, black smoke rising from near the residential high-rises.
