KUALA LUMPUR: Talent Corporation Malaysia Bhd (TalentCorp) today revealed a new chairman and board of directors.
Wong Shu Qi has been appointed chairman of the board, she is currently a Member of Parliament for Kluang and a board member of Research for Social Advancement (REFSA) has been appointed chairman of the board.
She graduated with a double degree in journalism and political science from the National Chengchi University in Taiwan, and a master's in public management from the National University of Singapore.
Mohd Khuzzan Abu Bakar, who has served with Bank Mualamat Malaysia for over 14 years, was appointed deputy chairman.

He has held various board member and chairman positions, and also served as a member of the Johor State Legislative Assembly from 2018 to 2022.
The board of TalentCorp now comprises of 13 members, namely Kesuma secretary general Datuk Seri Khairul Dzaimee Daud; Ministry of Economy deputy secretary general (Macro) Datuk Luqman Ahmad; Ministry of Finance deouty undersecretary (International) Dr. Emelia Fantoza Saraih, Datuk Seri Md. Alwi Che Ahmad; Dr. Jasmine Begum; Dr. Jufitri Joha; Maniam Arumugam; Mohd Farid Shah Mohd Basir; R. Nathan P. Rajoo; Ramamoorthy Ganapathy Iyer, Heng Charng Yee, Prof. Dr. Arsiah Bahrun @ Bahron and Raja Hamzah Abidin Raja Nong Chik.
The new board lineup was revealed in a joint statement issued by Kesuma and TalentCorp.
Kesuma Minister Steven Sim Chee Keong, welcomed the new TalentCorp chair and deputy chair, and said the newly appointed board members will bring fresh perspectives and innovative strategies to develop Malaysia's talent ecosystem through TalentCorp's initiatives.
"These appointments reflect TalentCorp's continued significance as KESUMA's strategic think tank, dedicated to attracting, nurturing, and retaining the human capital Malaysia needs to thrive in a rapidly evolving landscape shaped by increasing globalisation and the demands of the Future of Work," he said.
