Pahang Regent released from Ampang hospital

KUALA LUMPUR: The Regent of Pahang, Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, was allowed to return home yesterday after nearly a week of being treated at Gleneagles Medical Centre, Ampang.
He was seen using a walking stick, emerging from the medical centre at 1pm, accompanied by Tengku Puan of Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah and his daughter, Tengku Puteri Afzan Aminah Hafizatullah.
Tengku Abdullah was admitted to the medical centre on April 15 to undergo minor surgery on his right ankle.
Over the week, he received a visit from Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, and several other dignitaries. -- BERNAMA
