Censorship Board clears Power Rangers despite ‘lesbian’ concerns

 
PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Censorship Board (LPF) has given the all-clear to the children's action movie Power Rangers for release on Thursday.
According to a spokesperson from TGV Pictures, the distributor of Power Rangers, the film carries a P13 rating without any cuts.
On Tuesday, it was reported that the film was under review after it was learnt that there is a minor scene in the movie where Yellow Ranger Trini (Becky G) is coming to terms with her sexual orientation.
The scene shows one character assuming she's having “boyfriend problems,” but soon realises that perhaps she's actually having “girlfriend problems”.
