THE ALL NEW LEMON GARDEN AT
SHANGRI-LA HOTEL, KUALA LUMPUR

Kuala Lumpur, 27 February 2017

One of the best restaurants in Kuala Lumpur re-opened on Monday 27th February 2017.

The  Lemon Garden at Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur debuts a brand new look and a refreshed menu after undergoing renovation for the past four months.
Lemon Garden has always been well known for its extensive buffet selections and theatre kitchens where local and international specialities are prepared a la minute. It has the best buffet offering in Kuala Lumpur, only the Latest Recipe at the Le Meridien comes anywhere close to it.
The fare at Lemon Garden is simply awesome and the seafood section is a sight to behold. When you dine here you are assured of the the very best, freshest, quality fare that you can ever find in Kuala Lumpur.
Lemon Garden hosts a plethora of tantalising cuisine from all around the world. It features a variety of Chinese, Italian, Indian, Thai, Malay, Japanese and Western specialities.
The Western theatre kitchen offers a wide selection of cheese, salads, roast beef, glazed lamb ribs and quiche.

The Lemon Garden buffet offer quite an extensive choice of  salads, cold cuts and appetiser's. They have a great selection of freshly baked breads and cheese.

Pizzas are made the authentic way using a unique wood burning oven and the Interactive Pasta Hotspot allows patrons to personalise pastas by choosing their own pasta style and sauce.

The seafood station hosts a repertoire of fresh delicacies such as fresh oysters, scallops, crabs, squids, mussels, sushi, sashimi and prawns.

The Asian theatre kitchen, which is equipped with a hot tandoori oven hosts authentic dishes such as satay, murtabak, chicken tikka, tandoori, naan bread, roti canai, and others. Signature dishes include the Nyonya Curry Laksa and Whole Baked Malay Red Snapper with Curry.

The Chinese station is famous for its unique selection of double boiled soups. It also features a noodles corner which serves a wide array of hot-off-the-stove noodles, exquisite selections of dim sum and other varieties of oriental specialities. The Double Boiled Black Chicken with Ginseng Soup and Chinese Popiah are an absolute must try.

The stylishly designed dessert pavilion features a decadent display of local and international desserts such as the Coconut Pandan Hot Soufflé, ice kacang, waffles, crepes, chocolate fountains and an assortment of cakes, tarts and ice creams. The durian cake is a must try item!

Lemon Garden has a total seating capacity of 368 persons.  It opens daily from 6am to 11.30pm serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The new Lemon Garden received an exciting facelift, designed by Bond Design Studio Inc from Japan.

The interior of the restaurant is elegantly decked with modern and contemporary designs which exudes a warm and sophisticated ambience.

The flooring is made up of gleaming off-white and patterned tiles, the walls are lined with framed glass and golden brown panels while the ceiling features pendant lights and yellow light orbs.

Personally,  I prefer the high back posh leather/PVC cushion chairs they had at the old Lemon Garden as it was more stylish and gave it a certain elegance, but the new Lemon Garden promises a fresh twist to elegance. Whatever it is the overall ambiance is still good and the food remains to be excellent.
