BALIK PULAU: A tuition teacher claimed trial to three charges of performing an indecent act on three of his pupils.
Mohd Amin Nur Izwan Jamaluddin, 21, denied performing oral sex on the three boys, all aged 12, between February and May 13 this year at a flat in Lengkok Mahsuri.
Mohd Amin is also an assistant administrator in a primary school in Bayan Baru.
He faces up to 15 years prison and whipping, if convicted under Section 377E of the Penal Code for inciting a child to perform sexual acts.
DPP Edward Chan urged the court not to grant bail as there was a risk of Mohd Amin harassing the victims.
Counsel Joseph Cheong said Mohd Amin had to take care of his parents who were suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes.
Sessions Court judge Sitarun Nisa Abdul Aziz allowed bail of RM6,000 with one surety for each offence and set July 27 for mention.
