PETALING JAYA: National shuttler Datuk Lee Chong Wei proved once again that he is back in the groove when he bagged the Canada Open in super style.
On Sunday, the former world No. 1 continued his fine form when he defeated 21-year-old Angus Ng Ka Long of Hong Kong 21-17, 21-13 to claim the title in Calgary.
It was Lee’s second title in two weeks since coming back from an eight-month ban over a doping violation.
Last week, he reigned supreme to win the US Open Grand Prix Gold in New York.
