Luxury cars found hours after Subang Jaya theft

SUBANG JAYA: Swift action by the police saw two luxury cars recovered within hours of the theft, thanks to the car tracking device.
The cars, belonging to Subang Foochow Association deputy president Datuk Seri Wong Ing Soon, were stolen from his Subang Heights home at about 4am Saturday.
By 11.30am, police managed to trace the cars - a Bentley and an Audi - that were parked in a hotel in Persiaran Raja Muda Musa, Pandamaran, Klang.
Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Yahaya Ramli said a police team went to the hotel and retrieved the cars.
“A tracking system was installed in the cars. After more than five hours of surveillance, police recovered the cars.
“We believe that the crime was carried out by professionals,” he explained.
According to ACP Yahaya, closed circuit television footage revealed that the cars were stolen from Wong’s house at around 4am.
He said a man was seen entering the house through the back and breaking a bedroom window lock on the first floor.
“He took the car keys from the house and escaped through the front door,” he said.
ACP Yahaya said a group of four is believed to be behind the thefts of luxury cars.
"The cars would be kept in containers before being shipped out," he said.
“We will also investigate the background of the security guards at the residential area.
“It is very rare for them to let cars enter and leave the neighbourhood at such hour,” he said.
