Rozita and Zain tie the knot

SHAH ALAM: Sultry actress Rozita Che Wan tied the knot with actor Zain Saidin in a lavish wedding ceremony at the Setia City Convention Centre here.
Rozita, 40, wore a cream gown designed by Man Kajang while Zain, 29, wore a matching baju melayu by the same designer.
The marriage, attended by 200 guests, was solemnised at around 9.10pm.

Among the celebrities present at the ceremony were actresses Tasha Shilla and Fathia, comedian Lan Pet Pet as well as Rozita’s younger sister Ayu Raudhah.
The union has been touted as the most expensive wedding of the year with sponsorships worth RM13mil, comprising jewellery from Habib Jewels valued at RM10mil and items from 27 other sponsors.
Rozita, affectionately known by fans as Che Ta, received her wang hantaran(monetary gifts) of RM23,200 and mas kahwin (dowry) of RM9,300 plus a cincin nikah (wedding ring) priced at RM93,000.

This is Rozita’s second marriage and Zain’s first. Rozita was previously married to MAS pilot Azuar Effendy Zulkafly in 1995. They parted ways in 2003 and have two children – Ammar Effendi, 16, and Aniq Ezra, 13.
