Driver In Fatal Paul Walker Car Crash Identified As Friend And Business Partner Roger Rodas

- According to the New York Daily News, Rodas is survived by two children, one of whom tried to save him after the crash.
- The pair met when they raced cars together at various events, and Rodas later became Paul's business partner and financial adviser in 2007. Rodas, 38, was the CEO of Always Evolving, a car customisation shop, where Saturday's charity event was being held.
- Always Evolving represented Reach Out Worldwide, a charity set up by Rodas for Walker when the actor was part of an aid response team in Haiti following the earthquake in 2010. Rodas was also involved in education-supporting charity, The Asomugha Foundation.
- Rodas helped Walker find a creative solution for maintaining his passion for cars and racing without having them become a financial burden. Maintaining and transporting his fleet requires several full-time professionals, and Walker had been funding the operation out of his own pocket.
- Rodas suggested an alternative: that Walker create an incorporated race shop that is bonded and insured, and that brings in income by also doing work for other drivers.
