The Secretariat of the Save Malaysia Association, Badrul Hisham Shaharin, also known as Chegu Bard, was released at 2.15 this morning after his statement was taken. -
SHAH ALAM: The Secretariat of the Save Malaysia Association, Badrul Hisham Shaharin, also known as Chegu Bard, was released at 2.15 this morning after his statement was taken.
The matter was informed by Perikatan Nasional (PN) Youth Leader, Ahmad Fadhli Shaari through his Facebook page on Friday.
"Alhamdulillah CikguBard was released this morning at 2.15 after her statement was taken.
"Keep going! Save Malaysia," he said.
On Thursday, Chegu Bard was arrested by the police in front of the Pas General Office when he was about to attend a meeting of the Save Malaysia Association.
Director of the Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department, Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zin, said the arrest was made following his refusal to appear to be recorded in relation to six reports against him.
Previously, Chegu Bard informed that the rally which will be held on September 16 will continue despite the reactions from various parties.
However, the Home Minister, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail described the organizers of the rally as disrespecting Malaysia Day.
