The accused also confessed his repentance and promised not to do it again in the future.
The court then determined that the accused was convicted of both offences.
For each charge, the accused was sentenced to nine days in prison from the date of his arrest which was yesterday and a fine of RM1,000 per charge.
If he fails to pay the fine, the court determines that the accused will have to serve an additional nine days in prison. The accused's wife then paid the fine.
However, the court decided that both prison sentences would run concurrently.
